I have discovered something new! Well, new to me . . . please pardon my slowness if you already know about this, but look at the difference!!
I am absolutely not being paid to share this information and I am not affiliated with this site in any way, I am just so inspired I had to share with you. The above photos are from here. This gal has a video of how to make your photos look like this, and if that’s not enough, she sells what are called “actons”.
In my mind the easiest way to understand actions are that they are preset corrections in photoshop by people who know how to run the program better than I do! Actions are software specific, by that I mean, if you have photoshop elements, you need actions that were created for elements.
Anyway, imagine what you could do with these actions and it doesn’t even need to take all day! Ha! I love it.

In this shot, I used photoshop to make it look a little more “weathered” or old by removing the color some and adding some sephia tones
